Before we jump in — an update on accessibility: I don’t expect everyone to be a paid subscriber. But I do want everyone who is interested to be able to be a part of this newsletter. Which is why I’ve changed the monthly subscription cost to as low as it can go — $5/month or $50 for the year. This is equivalent to the price of a cappuccino or a pint of ice cream & I’d like to think this content is comparable. I’ll still be releasing the occasional free newsletter, but majority of the newsletters, updates on my life, Q&A’S, travel guides, etc. will be for my paid subs.
Ok, let’s get into it…
My love for the New England states continue. Maine will forever hold it’s spot at #1, but I have to say CT is a close second. The people are brilliant. Food was incredible. The culture is cozy and & homey. It’s quite literally the perfect place to go and retire in a cute little cottage surrounded by nature. A lot of our itinerary came from other travel guides & reddit threads, but, IMO, this was the perfect string of experiences to capture everything CT has to offer.
Where to stay
Don’t get me wrong, staying in an Airbnb would be the ultimate CT vibe. We checked to see what was available & they were so freakin’ cute, vibey, and homey. But, as a girl out here trying to make it in her late 20’s, we needed to prioritize what made sense *financially*.
